Puja is
worship. It is mystical communion with an aspect of the Divine to
pray for intervention or blessings in matters of health, wealth,
knowledge or liberation, etc. Traditionally, devotees give symbolic
offerings to the deity in the form of flowers, fruits, food and so
on or money to purchase these offerings of worship. Vishwa Shanti
Ashram engages the services of a temple priest to conduct the
ceremony on behalf of the donor, specifically mentioning the names
and prayer requests of the devotee.
